Hi I'm ian leonard thanks for checking me out,I first started in the music business I'm 1968and did my first gig in a church hall youth club,the very first record I purchased was ride a white Swan by t.rex I then formed a mobile disco called delter disco,then in the mid 70s I got into pirate radio in mosside Manchester, after spending 4 years running and hiding from the police with a cassette recorder,microphone, and a transmitter a got from the army and navy shop in Manchester,I then got into radio big time well I say big time it was 1 night on bbc radio Manchester with a presenter called barron barnie. My favourite radio stations of all time apart from this one was radio Caroline and piccadilly radio 261. I am a big supporter of Manchester city, I also spent 5 years stock car racing and banger racing, My all time love is helicopters and microlight flying. In more recent times I've spent 11 years on Tameside radio, then I got into Internet radio and as a soul ,60s, 70s,and 80s presenter I'm loving playing all your favourite songs. Ian leonard.
